How to cancel Microsoft 365
The steps from Microsoft 365's own help page, in plain English.
Steps
- Go to account.microsoft.com/services/microsoft365 and sign in with the account that pays for it.
- Select Cancel subscription (it may say Upgrade or Cancel).
- Read the Please review section, then choose I don't want my subscription.
Good to know
- Only see Turn on recurring billing? It's already set to end on the date shown.
- After cancelling, cloud storage drops to the free allowance (5 GB OneDrive, 15 GB Outlook.com), for everyone you shared a Family plan with too.
- Bought through Google Play, the App Store or a shop such as Amazon? Cancel with them.
